Anaru combines his deep knowledge of Maori Culture with his business experience to offer high quality insights for the organizations he works with. He is an experienced and very successful salesman, specializing in networking for business.

He has been a Maori Cultural performer and instructor for many years, and has worked as a consultant on Maori culture to numerous Maori trusts and businesses. As a cultural ambassador, he has travelled to over 20 countries, and has provided services to many organizations in both the corporate and social sectors.

Anaru spent over 10 years in the police force, where he graduated from the CIB induction programme and reaching the rank of Sergeant. For his outstanding contribution to the police and to the community, he was awarded the Queens 1990 Commemoration Medal.

Anaru is a very gifted presenter and communicator. He has also performed roles in some of New Zealand 's best known movies and TV programmes including Crooked Earth, What becomes of the Broken-Hearted, Shortland St and the acclaimed series Mataku.

Anaru is currently completing his Bachelor of Business Studies ( Massey University ) in 2003. -
